Why were there no results when I searched

Answer: One has to register information into our database
in order for the name to show up. Using our "Tell-A-Friend"
page to let your friends know about us greatly increases the

Why can't I get access to the search page?
Answer: First make sure that you are
registered! Then, if you still cannot access the search page, the reason you are having difficulty is most likely
because the cookies on your computer are turned off. We use cookies
merely to determine who is registered. Once the cookies on your
computer are enabled, you should have no difficulty accessing all
pages of the website.

How did MaidenName.net come into being?
Answer: The idea for MaidenName.net was conceived as I
wondered about women from my past, recalling long evenings spent
in the college dormitory contemplating what our futures would
hold. I realized that I would never know how things turned out
for them, since many of their names have changed—perhaps
several times.
Since its beginnings,
we've grown in so many different directions. We're thrilled to
receive your thank you notes telling of lost loves found, birth
families reunited, family histories traced and long lost pals
once again in touch!
